29 pandas is a lot.

I don't have more than 10 running at a time. You want to prioritize because every panda costs you time. So if you have 29 pandas, it has to check each one before making it's way back around and starting again. Within that time period, other people who have less pandas are going to catch it. By the time yours gets around to checking it again, it's gone.

I hope that makes sense.
Very good info indeed. Makes a lot of sense.

Taking my friend out for Thai food! :)

What about you?
Veggin', low key for me :) Some cooking, baking and catching up on my shows.

That gif is delicious but also frustrating. Please have mercy on me and CUT THROUGH THE BREAD ALREADY!

But good morning (to you and everyone else)! I'm resubbing to WoW today and playing with my friend and her fiance, so I might spend my weekend doing that. I'm excited; I love the game but never had anyone to play it with before.

I hope everyone here also has a nice weekend!
You'll have some fun for sure :) I play on a priv server ... until the Classic Legacy servers come out (still dreaming) LoL

i think it's the real Jeff Bezos

- he hardly logs in (because he's a busy billionaire)

- he has no posts (see above)

- and his pic is of himself
Well, is that avatar pic available in like searchable (search engine) images? If it is then maybe it's a bored turker slowly cultivating that account just to make the rest of us wonder, but if it's not then maybe it is him!

Hahaha. I can only assume this is from an infomercial. People in informecials are apparently terrible at doing even the simplest tasks.
Right!?!?! It's as if they've never held a wedge before! There's no way they are slicing anything with that grip ... sheesh!

If it's a really good hit you're trying for even 3 or 4 other pandas running are pushing it. I add a bunch if needed but just keep a certain amount running and then when I catch one I add one of the others I'd added but kept turned off. And if the few I'm trying for aren't catching then at some point I switch out at least one or two to others. Then just keep rinsing and repeating all that.

for years this has been my most-hated gif/commercial. sometimes I randomly think about it and start getting angry. Who the fuck tries to cut bread with a block of wood? What thought process had to occur to reach the conclusion that it would work? Could the commercial people not think of anything better?

tl;dr: I feel very strongly about this commercial

You sound a little...on wedge.

I have many good, decent, and okay HITs running in Panda Crazy... and have caught 1. And it was one I just added and immediately caught. The other like... 29 or so, have been there for a good while.
Sadness.

Most experienced turkers have very few HITs on pandas (I'd wager to say no more than 5), for the exact reason Evergreen Queen @Evergreen Queen posted. What exactly are you putting on panda, EverfreeTree @EverfreeTree ? Surveys ... high paying ones? low paying ones?

My friend, my video game history is long and old. Between my immediate family we have had every Nintendo and Playstation console (including PSP and VIta). Even when the PS3 was $600, I was supportive of Sony. Albeit that was a huge misstep on their part. My Wii is on a shelf currently since we have a Wii U, and I don't use it much anymore. But I've been a huge advocate of the Sony/Nintendo combo (I may also have bias from living in Japan as a kid). They are my favorite.

Also in terms of PS4 controllers, they just released this wired controller that is much better for smaller hands. My 11 year old sister might be better off playing it when she plays a PS4 game. Something you may want to consider in the future. (I do not work at Sony. I sure wish I did though).

Thats awesome! I wish I owned all of them lol I used to have a N64 and I have no idea what happened to it :( I literally only use my Wii for netflix now lol I am definitely more of a fan of Nintendo then Sony. Thats really cool that you lived in Japan! who gets to say they did that!

Oh! cool! Ill look into that! thanks so much for the suggestion!

Yeah my mom owned and still has the original NES packed away. And then we had two SNES, one was mine and one was my moms. My N64 is packed away somewhere with my PS1. Sadly my PS2 died so I got rid of it since it'd only be a paperweight. Growing up in the 90's was awesome because of getting to experience polygonal gaming rise and grow, but still got some of the 16-Bit era gaming in too. It's also weird though because I seem to be in the minority in my age group that has a 16-bit game as their favorite game ever.
