Is there a way to Panda a Requester? For example, I keep seeing Hits from Transcribe This on my scraper but can never catch them. Is there a script that can automatically panda new hits from a specific Requester?

You should read through the PandaCrazy Thread. It is explained.
But Add a Job with only the requester ID and instead of the Panda function use the Search function. It will then auto accept any hits from that requester ID> It is a little slower, because first it has to search the requester then accept the hit, but it works.

it's doing this freeze thing that her last two tablets did.
each lasts about a year
I guess it's time to pay more than $100 for a tablet
I guess with that purchase, christmas and her birthday will be less presents than I'd thought

Have you tried a factory reboot? That does sound rather odd. I've had my kindle fire for almost 4yrs without issue (anecdotal, i know lol).
