Got a rejection from Samuel Hudson on 11/21.

Reason listed, "
Your participation is appreciated, but due to limited funds, your payment is being rejected, and your data is being withdrawn from the study. Once again, thank you for your time."

That's stupid, it's not like they can get the money back...

You can reject the HITs then withdraw the money. What do you mean?
Until you said that I was pretty certain that wasn't true, but now I don't know.

That is possibly one of the worst rejection reasons I've ever seen.

Translated. I would like to not give you the money I offered you, for a HIT that was already "paid for" but didn't produce enough usable results, and offer that carrot to another poor fool. In fact I may just see how many donkeys I can round up with this one carrot, and then. eat it myself right in front of them as I actually use the money in my Amazon payments, that should have been paid to you for your hard work which I appreciate so much, for a Cyber Monday Thermos.

There's no withdraw button. Although I wouldn't mind rejecting someone for the hell of it.
From the associated Amazon payments account? They don't just hold your money hostage forever do they? You reject the HITs, it returns to your balance (if you cancel the reposts if they happen automatically or whatever).

I think when this has come up before, there's no button to request withdraw but if the requester contacts Amazon Payments and asks for it, they can do it on their side.

This sounds insane. What if you accidentally deposit double the money you end up needing? Their programming is worse than mine.

The only part that would be kept would be Bezos' cut. The rest should just come back on it's own.

Requester money isn't inside Amazon payments, it's sort of like how mturk money isn't in amazon payments. (Except w/out the withdraw button.)

edit: I could reuse it over and over again if I kept rejecting, but I can't put it back on my card/account.
