Categorizing 5 pictures of hotel rooms or things related to hotels. It's too little money for the effort but there is nothing else to do right now. And they pay within an hour or two.

Not wise. You can make $1 to, let's say, $3 in 3-20 minutes on a survey. Not even counting the high-paying ones. Takes much longer on a batch hit. There were a few floating around for $4 and $5 today. After you do a lot of surveys, you'll be able to go faster because some ask the same set of questions.

Depending on the batch, the reverse could be true. I'm sure some of the vets here will tell you that if you want to make more than about $80-$100 a day, surveys are only filler. I like surveys usually but, with timers and the fact that they mostly post in the daytime, It's hard to get over $80, for me, on surveys alone. I'm not super great at batches but, I read lightning quick with near total retention,. I can remember 28 random words after seeing them for 3 seconds each only once with a brain clearing word search and Tetris in between the recall of the word. I also reason very quickly and love math. Surveys/Studies are the way to go,for me. so, I feel I can focus harder on a longer task for guaranteed money rather than hope that I can learn how to do a batch HIT AND do enough of them to make it profitable. and of course I'm not qualified, how do you get the qualification.

They used to be non qual or maybe masters? But then they suddenly changed it to qual based on your overall work. I had the advanced users qual which they never had hits for. But I was given the super users qual within the past week or two.

2 years ago maybe when we could do 6-700 a week pretty easily. I'm a slacker anymore if i work more then 20 hours a week thats a lot for me now

So a $50 dollar day, you would work 2.5 hours and not really touch anything else because it's below your minimum price?(Which is fine. just a question. Not a judgement.)
I can't afford to set the value on my time that high.

I work what up when I decide I'm working and quit if it's like last night. I'll take a $2 hour, if it's easy. I've got nothing else going on and I'm in the mood to work.

You would think it would be, but it's not. The TOS say a requester can reject for any reason, or no reason at all.
