I run HM pretty much 24/7.
Only turn it off when I'm sleeping.

Love getting alerted to my closed quals and secret batches on the weekend when I'm not working.
Boosts my earnings a lot.

Absolutely they are different, but you can set up searches in PC as well. I don't have any secret batches or any quals worth getting excited about. I guess that's probably why I haven't found it very useful yet.
