Unless it's a thing that you know posts periodically, or at the very least more than once, it's best to wipe out yesterday's shitty pandas and replace them with today's shitty pandas.

Not necessarily. Sometime I keep pandas for a few days.
You have to decide whether the reward is worth the chase.
I have caught hits a few days after posting.
Especially if they have a long timer.
