Basically, and I've had this happen with requesters before, they would setup a zero value makeup HIT. Normally this is only done if there was some sort of error, or accidental submission, with a HIT that's done inside of the browser instead of through an outside link like a survey.I'm really not understanding you.
you get a rejection on task #1
they make makeup hit #2 $0.00
you do makeup hit #2
you get paid $0, and keep the rejection from hit #1
what does the makeup hit accomplish? I'm honestly lost here.
-----------------------
if they reverse the original rejection, you get paid for the first task
a make up hit is for when you don't/can't submit a task.
if a task has been rejected, you have submitted it. it can then [usually, apparently] be reversed.
regardless of being a rejection or a paid status, you can receive a bonus payment through that task.
After completing the makeup HIT, they would then reverse the rejection on the original HIT in order to pay for the work.
Does that help?
