Maybe not. I asked for a makeup HIT, and they are asking how to do it.
a makeup hit won't reverse your rejection

I've had requesters apologize and tell me they can't reverse a wrongfully given rejection
and then pay me through bonus to the rejected task.

Is there a link, or something, that explains to a requester how to do a makeup HIT?

It will if they do it at a $0 amount just to reverse the original rejection.
Not exactly. You need a lot more than 1 accepted HIT to negate a rejection. If you have the numbers to handle it, then it's not that big of a deal.

No, I meant I was willing to do a zero value HIT in order for them to reverse the rejection on the first one.

However, this requester is just dumb. Basically what they did was put out a batch of 6, and the expectation (however it was not listed anywhere on the HIT or the title) was that you had to do at least five to not have your work rejected.

I'm really not understanding you.
you get a rejection on task #1
they make makeup hit #2 $0.00

you do makeup hit #2
you get paid $0, and keep the rejection from hit #1

what does the makeup hit accomplish? I'm honestly lost here.

-----------------------

if they reverse the original rejection, you get paid for the first task
a make up hit is for when you don't/can't submit a task.

if a task has been rejected, you have submitted it. it can then [usually, apparently] be reversed.
regardless of being a rejection or a paid status, you can receive a bonus payment through that task.
