No, I meant I was willing to do a zero value HIT in order for them to reverse the rejection on the first one.
However, this requester is just dumb. Basically what they did was put out a batch of 6, and the expectation (however it was not listed anywhere on the HIT or the title) was that you had to do at least five to not have your work rejected.

they make makeup hit #2 $0.00
you do makeup hit #2
you get paid $0, and keep the rejection from hit #1
what does the makeup hit accomplish? I'm honestly lost here.

if they reverse the original rejection, you get paid for the first task
a make up hit is for when you don't/can't submit a task.
if a task has been rejected, you have submitted it. it can then [usually, apparently] be reversed.
regardless of being a rejection or a paid status, you can receive a bonus payment through that task.
