It appears that there was an attention check that I "missed" (which is bullshit because I'm militant about that stuff), and they let me finish and submit the HIT. Seems like a dick move to me.

I accepted one just to find out. Yep - task expired!

I will admit I fast forwarded through some of the more gruesome parts of the video, but even with doing that I was getting the alarm bells that the HIT was going to expire. I got it in under the wire with less than 30 seconds to spare. It was not possible to let that video run and finish the HIT before it expired.

This is my third insufferably self-important TEDx video I've had to watch. I got "invited" once to TEDx Dirigo (the one here in Maine) and, not knowing better I agreed. I left after the first ten minutes of the 2nd talk, bitching myself out for paying $150 for that crap.
