Oh man if only... I did have a power strip get ruined, and my couch might need to be replace. My fiancee is talking with our landlord and she said that our landlord is going to knock off our January Rent, so that's cool I guess.

Yeah, that's a low settlement. How bad is the damage, and are they fixing it?

For the future, look into renter's insurance, it is usually pretty cheap (less than $20 per month) and is nice to have in case something more serious happens and no landlord is willing to help.

Thankfully the couch has been on it's way out for months, and the power strip was what we used to use for A/C, so those aren't too bad. Luckily I keep most of my electronic stuff high off the ground because of previously mentioned kitties. The floors aren't looking too bad, just wet. Our landlord is there for the day with their maintenance guy because it happed to us, the people below us, and our neighbors across the hall.

Eh, I prefer my stuff local to be honest. I work in IT, and 97% of my screenshots are for corporate use so I don't want them out there. They're most screenshots of "I told you so" or "you're wrong and I can prove it".

SnagIt can be set up to do the same though.

It's clear from the thread. We were referred to as "deviled" which I reinterpreted as "eggs" and then was asked if I wanted to fight about it, so I posted the fight emoji and edited in a red panda deviled egg image.
