What brand/type colored pencils do you use? I can't seem to make things look cool unless I use my fine point markers and then I can't shade.

That picture was colored with these Marco Raffine colored pencils. I really like them, I also use a Prismacolor colorless blender pencil to make it smoother.

I have a set of Prismacolor premier but it is not good for edges at all, though they do blend really nicely and have really pretty colors.

It does work a tad bit better with the prismacolor pencils than the raffine ones but still works fine.

Love, love, love Prismacolor. The blender is awesome, too. @Vanyanka they're expensive, but they're high quality. @Jaded, have you heard about the harder versions of Primacolor that are used for detailing? They're called Verithin

No, I hadn't heard of those ones I'll go look into them

edit: https://www.amazon.com/Prismacolor-Premier-Verithin-Colored-36-Count/dp/B000MK9YWI looks like they aren't too expensive.

If anyone does buy any coloring books, and has a scanner, you should scan the pages so if you mess up you can redo it :o (I have a google drive full of coloring pages :o )

Unless you buy Selina Fenech, most of her books have duplicates.
