tilman fertitta joked in a interview a couple weeks ago that "Capella was going to cost him some money". so I do think Rockets find a way to keep him

it would not surprise me if he's a top 3 paid big man in the league because he's becoming a dominant force

he's still so young too. I would do anything it took to keep him
If someone offers him a max contract, do you keep him? That's a tough call. I don't think he's nearly as effective with a team like Phoenix as he is with Houston. He's pretty limited as far as his offensive game.

i would try to. it would hurt trying to get a big free agent signing, but i really do think Capella is a vital piece on this team now and moving forward. he's still only 21 or 22 and he's gotten better every season. he's gotten better offensively, but he's so important on defense most of the times :,(

Paul is eventually going to retire. Capella and Harden may be the only long term Rockets for years to come (Harden is already locked up)

He complements harden really well, he has good basketball IQ to always get to the rim when hardens going so hes always on the receiving end of a harden alley oop a few times per game. Gotta sign Capella to a long term deal if I am the rockets

The good thing is he's a restricted free agent I think? They can match offers but it would suck if someone tossed him a poison pill offer.

It wouldn't surprise me if Clint took less money to re-sign with Houston, but I'm just guessing

he seems to like playing here. plus Hakeem has been mentoring him as well the past few years

I still don't think LBJ leaves the East.

I have to admit that as a Lakers fan it's making me salty as fuck that the Celtics are so good.

Is boston really gunna go up 2-0 :eek::eek:
if Clev doesn’t take both games in Clev - this series is over (if it isn’t already)

Lebron had a 42 point triple double last night and they still lost by double digits

Rockets have to win tonight or the West series is over too. I picked Houston in 7 before the series started so I expected a tough, long series

so go Rockets
