Funny I started mTurk at the end of January (again because I started mTurk when it first came out and gave it up pretty quickly) anyway I started it being like I hate all these surveys now I like them. Prolific wasn't really working for me I wasn't going to keep going but I got an email for a survey and followed through on that. Now I have this so I think I'll keep giving that a try! Prolific is starting to work nicely for me yay! Is there a referral link for it? I thought I saw some in the forum but I don't remember what link I used and of course I'd like to find my own if there is such a thing.

Can you give me any tips? I had an account for 3 weeks, and did not receive any study, so I deleted the account and made a new attempt to prolific with a new account, I use it for 1 month and I do not receive a study.
I answer all the qualifying questions.
So I asked if it was for US only.

Make sure you have your cashout stuff updated.

Is anyone using Circle? @electrolyte I see there are less fees from cashing out at Prolific when using this but I've never heard of it before.

If you are using any sort of page monitor, like Prolific Assistant, make sure that it doesn't make requests at less than 1 minute intervals, since they seem to be serving up 503 errors otherwise.
That said, has anyone else noticed Prolific Assistant not catching studies? I realized today that I was monitoring every 10 seconds, and reset it to 60, but then I randomly checked Prolific twice today, and both times found a study that Prolific Assistant had not caught (I think).

I use Circle and it works perfectly. I have it setup to go directly to my bank card, and it took the least amount of time to confirm with my bank over any platform. The lack of fees if you wait to cash out until you're over $20 makes it one of the better platforms out there, besides Amazon Payments.

Yes, but that happens ever other week or so. I don't rely on Prolific for cash the way I do with mTurk.

That happens to me too. I wonder if this is because they are trying to block high frequency page monitors, and everything gets screwed up as a result.

I noticed that Prolific Assistant hasn't notified me in over a month about surveys.
I am still a Prolific member because I caught 2 surveys yesterday when I signed in and did them manually.
Just though it seems Prolific Assistant hasn't worked for me in a month, plus I get 503 errors.
Any info on how to change the settings to over 1 minute intervals?
