My first experience with Circle seemed alright. My payout from Prolific to Circle took two days but I think that was mainly Prolific. Surveys have been slow. I am only managing to get about one or two a day.

Today was a good day! Got almost $10 in surveys within an hour.
I can go a long time with hardly any, and then get a ton in a one to two day span. But it is still a nice little side thing. Can't wait for the site revamp.

I think it is instant. You just keep the page open for surveys. The surveys appear slowly. Also, make sure you fill out all of the profile stuff to qualify for the surveys.

Nah, it says they aren't accepting new people at the moment. I gave my info so I'd get an email when they are.

I might be more likely to get help posting in the daily thread, but I'll put it here first.

Just tried to do a study on PA. Without giving too much detail, it was pretty typical Inquisit E-key, I-key categorization task. I could type in demo info before the E-I task, but E and I didn't work in the full-screen task itself. The same thing happened yesterday as well. Anyone else having issues?

I went without any surveys for about 4 weeks. I contacted them about it and they replied that my account had been frozen but they couldn't figure out why so they restored it. I have gotten a couple since then. I've never gotten many and I have never received any kind of email saying they are available either though I signed up for notifications. The little button doesn't work for me either.

NOW, suddenly, this morning, I am getting MULTIPLE surveys and the little button works! No email notifications though!

Did you get your Daily Lifestyle Behaviors and Psychological Functioning done? Anybody?
I actually got one rejection but they did approve the rest. Yay because that was actually a lot for me to check in at night and do those.

As of 14 March 2019 the participant referral scheme has been retired. Participants who have signed up via referral link and have not yet cashed out have until 12 May 2019 to do so. If these participants cash out after 12 May 2019 the referrer will not receive their referral fee.

At Prolific, building a high quality pool of participants to take part in world-leading research is one of our biggest priorities. We are keen to grow this pool in as balanced a way as possible, to discourage population biases and maximise diversity.

This is a decision we have carefully considered as a team. Analyses performed by our research team indicate that participant referrals can cause problems by reinforcing certain demographics in our participant pool – a tendency we would like to curb in order to improve the diversity of our pool.

This change has some upsides for both researchers and participants: It will allow us to distribute studies across our pool more evenly. This should mean that fewer participants will find it hard to get any studies.

Why is this happening?
Circle believes that the future of finance will be built on open blockchain technology and that global payments will become reality through fiat tokens and stablecoins such as US Dollar Coin (USDC).
Our goal of creating new global crypto financial services for people to store value, earn money and make payments in a seamless way will be through new wallet services throughout Circle’s products. Circle Pay clarified that vision over its successful 5-year lifespan, but it also largely relies on interfacing with the traditional financial system and untokenized fiat currencies. As such, we believe that it is appropriate to retire Circle Pay at this time. We will continue to work toward connecting every person on the planet through an open financial system built on crypto assets and blockchain technology through fiat tokens and stablecoins.
What is the timeline?
July 8th, 2019:
Adding money and sending money will be disabled. You will only be able to cash out funds back to your card or linked bank account.
September 30th, 2019: We will fully discontinue all support for Circle Pay. You will not be able to log into the product or access your account. We encourage you to cashout before this date.

So now we only have the option of getting paid through PayPal with a ridiculous fee? That sucks; makes me not want to use them anymore.

Would be nice if they actually had customer service. I keep getting notices there are surveys I'm eligible to take but I can't take them as my phone number is not verified (and it may be because my cell is VOIP-type cell service so it says my cell number is not a cell phone number despite the fact I receive calls when I'm mobile on it) and when I try to find out exactly what to do to get verified, I don't get a response back from them.
