Writer's Thread?

I need to be a better "boss" to myself with writing. I keep stepping into pitfalls with procrastination and excuses... "But I have to do X this week so I don't have time to write!" Writing is hard.

Going full Mulan here and definitely going to climb to the top

SO, I was having my brother read over my first couple chapters so I could make sure things were clear, get some feedback and whatnot.

he came across this gem of a line and both of us died from laughing.

"Regret turned her stomach and tears warmed her cheese."

Trying to finish up WOTS1 so I can be all fresh and ready for NaNo this year Means I have to edit 2300+ words if I keep 80k as my goal for WOTS1

I've gotten a ton of story planning done this month and recently wrote about 500 words of the first chapter! Oh and I also completed the cover of the first book and started working on one for the sequel...so yay for progress!

related to that, how do I outline things.

I googled it and they all seem to explain things as if one should have a basic idea of what an outline is and >.>

I was gonna be all planner this year instead of pantser

I'm gonna sit and read it again, I think last time someone showed me it I was already hip deep in story and didn't wanna try an outline.
