Thank you so much!!! That is very helpful! I mostly just show my work to my husband and he isn't a very reliable critic....I think he's scared....I can't imagine why....
Ha! Yeah, I've learned that while families are great for confidence boosting, they're not exactly helpful for actually cleaning up the story. Scribophile has a paid version, (and a free version) Right now because it's NaNo if you sign up with this link you can get a 20% off. https://www.scribophile.com/join/nanowrimo Basically with paid you get to post more work, have more space in your inbox. It's definitely not required but I liked it because I didn'th ave to delete previous work (and the comments that came with it) to post new chapters. Nearly all the crits I got were incredibly useful, the only one that wasn't was someone who just did not fit the books demographics which meant the story didn't really sit right with him.

I sort of lost my train of thought, I know I had a point here.

edit: Speaking of NaNo, their forums are pretty active during NaNoWriMo and sometimes splinter off and keep in contact throughout the year.

Thank you so much! Scribophile looks perfect! After I'm done turking today I think I'll head over there and look it over some more. :)

haha, I figured that's what you meant (in re: edit) Thanks, I love them! I was so sad when they got lost, then Pestilence went out of stock, then they got lost again. It was a rollercoaster, but I'm glad I have them all now :o

Also get to writing! The world needs ALL the words.

alternatively (alternately? idk) I could download a new mmorpg. hint: someone is doing that right now. neither confirming nor denying that person is me.

Could you ask the person who is definitely not you what game it is? Someone who isn't me is way too nosy, especially when it involves possibiblenew games

Neverwinter's the D&D game? I could do some writing for my D&D campaign, that counts as writing doesn't it? We've been on hiatus since Dad died, cos I am an occasional, unpredictable mess but I do miss it.
