Okay. So, a transaction from Amazon to my bank acct. on Sunday initiated, but still hasn't processed. I have had a completely different transaction initiate and process from yesterday, and yet the Sunday one still hasn't processed. I have no idea who to contact with Amazon. Has anyone else had to deal with this? Who do I get in touch with?
Just call the call back number the one that calls you back where you go online and enter your number. It's located on the overview page if you click phone help or whatever. Mine from yesterday appears to have cleared and the CS person seemed to think it has too because it says completed but I won't see it until tomorrow. Nicely tell them you know there's a problem because everyone is complaining and could they add you to the list. I think it's like the cable company. They won't fix it until enough people complain except this is our money and they better get it fixed and they know that.

I often find it hard to be patient with Amazon in 2017, especialally when every goddamn city is fawning over them, even as they don't do a goddamn thing for Mturk workers.
And the government is saying they have gotten too big and need to be broken up. Wonder where that will leave us? So be careful for what you wish for.:barefoot:

ok, well in this case, it is your bank who you should be upset at.

they're pretty explicit about it:
It normally takes 5-7 business days to withdraw funds to your bank, depending on your bank's policies, processing schedules, and national payment holidays. If you have questions about your bank's processing timeframes, please contact your bank directly.

delays after withdrawing from payments are not under amazon's control anymore. it's your bank that you should be taking issue with

they're pretty explicit about it:
Like I said, I did one yesterday and *that* went through fine. I don't care whose fault it is, we're at a point where basic things like this shouldn't be happening. If you start a transaction, there's no reason for it to be held up so long, much less not go through at all.

ok, then you should be calling your bank and asking what the deal is. IMO one extra day to wait is not something to get very upset about.

...what? The banks being that big is precisely WHY this happens - no competition, so no motivation to actually provide a quality service.

If there's ANYTHING I'm wishing for, it's regulation and dismantling of the bloated BANKING system. Christ. Don't start there.

Everyone is not dealing with my bank so this reeks of Amazon's problem. The money isn't going to the same bank and I can't believe every bank has a problem unless somebody did a serious hack across the nation.

i haven't been experiencing any additional delays in payments, so it doesn't sound like everybody?

Don't even think about it. It's too big to fail and there's nothing we can do about it anyway.
