I completely understand that. I really should put it on there just to help, but explaining MTurk to a stiff seems like a nightmare in itself. Haha.

I've explained mturk many times but no one has been as this nosy as this person. It was very frustrating.
Most people would just ask what i do and thats it.

This is why I haven't put MTurk on any resume/CV yet. I want to perfect how to word it and prepare a way to respond to any questions next time I'm in a round of interviews. Otherwise I would just tell them to stop prying. Haha.

Im an independent contractor for Amazon. I work on various computer related tasks for our customers where I analyze, identify and work out solutions to problems our customers are experiencing.

I'm usually not this far ahead, but I caught a couple $1.00 surveys, and my husband is home taking care of the kid so I don't get distracted as much. :tearsofjoy:

I know that feeling. I've become far to straight forward dealing with government type people like that though. Not to the point of asshole, but just tired of dealing with people. They drive me crazy!

I'm a big fan of keeping things simple for as long as possible. Not because I don't like complexity (I love it actually), but most people around me are either too nosy or too stupid to really carry on further than simplicity. I'm mentally ill enough dealing with the real world. Lol.

my kids are 15 and 16, i know how it is!
freedompop has cheap cell phones. and if you have wifi at home you can get their free plan! its like 500 mbs a month with 200 texts/minutes.
if that's something you're interested in, i mean.
that's what i was gonna do for my kids, but their grandma pays for their phones.
my kids are more interested in computers/video game consoles than phones.
