i saw people talking about their dinners and i want to chime in. I just tried smoked oysters for the first time. Not sure I am ok with them.

I'm right there with you. Always bought my cars with cash. I have no idea how to adult when it comes to cars.

Even with cash it's a real pain...been trying to buy one at a reasonable price with reasonable miles for a week and it's like pulling teeth...they wan't 75% of the price of new one for ones that are 4-5 years old with 60-80k miles....and they won't even budge on price with cash in hand.....I might have to buy a new one which I hate

We got a car that that was less than a year old and it was a great decision. New cars devalue the minute you drive them off the lot. I think it really depends on the car and the financing you're able to get.

Dealer doesn't make any money off of your paying cash (they'd much rather you finance with them). Used to be the case where cash is king but not anymore.

I'm definitely going to look at the Costco auto program whenever buying time happens. The car is 2002 but only has 80K miles on it so it's got life in it -- it's just all the other parts deteriorating with age.

Paid cash for the 2002 in 2002. Different times.

But the salespeople have quotas to meet so if you let them know to give you a call at the end of the month...
