This and, I already donate to charities regularly. So whether I'm asked on a survey or asked by a phone call, my answer is usually "no" as I have already spent the budget for donations. And I'm on mturk to make money, not give it away.

This is my reason as well. I literally have a portion of my weekly pay removed and sent to a charity of my choosing. Not some piddly $0.10 here and $0.25 there ... maybe LoL

The other ones that bother me for a similar reason are the ones who ask if you want to donate part of your earnings to charity, not a hypothetical bonus amount. Anyone who has been on MTurk for awhile knows that you can't "give away" part of the amount the HIT says it'll pay you.

I guess it's why when they ask how many surveys you've done on mturk, the options are always so laughably low to us. The options always cap out at something like 10-20 and we laugh about it, having done hundreds or thousands as turkers, but they're probably only really interested in those people that have done like fewer than 5-10 or so.

I hit about 80 by 2 est, and I fell asleep at my desk from brian z concussion damage. Woke up about 20 minutes ago & capped at 102 for the day (locked out), made some money, but going woozy rest of the day prob.
