I had a complete substernal thyroidectomy. I had a partial not quite 2 years ago (that was supposed to be a complete but that's a whole nother load of bull), so it's a 2nd surgery at the same site which complicates things. I totally look like the victim of a botched beheading now though, and I'm thinking about getting a zipper tattoo over the scar once it heals lol.

LOL ok that sounds amusing. Neck surgery would flip me out just because of where it is I'm sure.

May I ask any mturk vets in this thread, Is it always this slow like this around this time of year? and how long does it last? I need the money I make from here so bad right now, in a very tight spot for cash.

Summers are pretty slow, but so are other random times. I think you just have to look harder for the work rather than hoping it falls into your lap. Which isn't fun.

They just responded with an email stating it is now working and to try again. I will finish it, but not happily because of all the time that has been wasted. I feel as though I spent the majority of my morning on this stupid hit. I hope they do the right thing and set up the dummy hit for the full $7 once I send them the completion code. If this ever ends..

So due to it locking up on me the hit expired while I was on the very last page of the survey. I sent an email. Hopefully they are responsive. I would hate to lose out on $7 due to their glitch. Oh well. At least it was somewhat entertaining.
