The Cut-E support people sent me an email asking me to complete the test and informing me that the issue had been resolved. I let them know I had finished the task. The answer came from the system support email, as I sent them a message as well as sending one through MTurk. Considering their awareness of the issue, anyone who went ahead and submitted probably shouldn't worry.

Ya my anxiety has been on high alert basically 24/7 for the last 6 months. I've already cried once about going back in today lol. My poor husband has to listen to my bullshit lol.

That kind of anxiety is not bullshit. Obviously I'm not a doctor, but you might look into cranial electrotherapy stimulation (CES) devices. CES devices are used to treat (or help treat) a variety of conditions such as anxiety, depression and insomnia. The U.S. Army uses them to treat PTSD in soldiers. LUCK!

May I ask any mturk vets in this thread, Is it always this slow like this around this time of year? and how long does it last? I need the money I make from here so bad right now, in a very tight spot for cash.

Last year wasn't as bad as once might expect. I still managed 250 to 300 a week, mostly on surveys. That's with a super flexible schedule though. I can arrange my time around peak Mturk times.
