Agreed. I haven't read the book since high school but I remember liking it a lot. The first season of the show was...okay I guess. Just 'okay'. Really visually interesting and well-shot but forgettable. But so far the second season has just been "bad stuff happening to characters I don't actually give a shit about" the show. I'm really behind and I don't know if I'm ever going back to catch up on it.

It's possible I'm remembering wrong, but I couldn't figure out what season two was gonna be about. I thought season one ended with the end of the book. But It's very possible I wasn't paying enough attention.
Yep, that's where it ended. It didn't include any of the epilogue stuff from the book though. The second season is all TV original.
