LOL, I can't. Blocked, even though I had never actually completed a single one of their HITs!

Something like 2 years ago, there was a script for clearing CAPTCHAs and a large number of people used Copytext, Inc HITs to do so, since they were underpaid and would arbitrarily reject, yet the HITs were quick to load. I vaguely recall warnings going out across the forums by users who started getting banned for accepting their HITs for clearing CAPTCHA and then promptly returning them.

I missed the warning and got blocked. Probably accepted/returned a few 1000's of their HITs but never submitted a single one.

This is a thing? So . . . if I am PANDA-ing p9's penny hits and only do the ones that I know are not a gamble, and return the others . . . they might get mad at me?

Only if they're petty as hell (which some requesters are, but it's rare)

As long as you're actually doing the occasional few then I think you'll be fine.

Maybe others can chime in about safe HITs to use for clearing CAPTCHAs now, but the dude running Copytext, Inc probably just got annoyed with the sheer volume of people using their HITs to clear CAPTCHAs back in the day, because it seemed like everyone was using them or ScoutIt's at the time.

is there any way that I can check how many I've currently done so I know how close I am to having 100?

Ummmm, when your the one person who didn't understand that this was a thing.

Also, wouldn't the ratings really be subjective anyhow. If someone who only has to complete 3 questions is at number 20 that is far better than the person completing 5 questions being 25, once all are completed anyhow.

I didn't realize that people had to do a different number of questions every week. I only have to do 3 to complete it each week.

Yw. I try not to reward laziness. It sets a bad precedent. I have trouble with those arrows too. So, I'll let it slide. lol But, I figure if it's worth asking, it's worth scrolling.
I really didn't think about the laziness. I just hate the circular conversations that happen sometimes. And sometimes I try to prevent them. It doesn't ever work. No worries. I was being annoyed irl so, I was biased.

I don't think it's a running tally. I think it's a score or rating(metric even) used to categorize different demographics.

Speaking of, is anyone here in the top 10? 20? 50? Personally I'm at 517 Though my score seems to just be a tiny bit behind the person at 1, so I feel like almost everyone participating is within the same ballpark

I don't think that's a "number done" reference. It looks like a score. I have no idea if it's tied to those questions, though.

You can search your quals and see what your "score" or number is.
