I've been kind of halfassedly looking into something like that too. But I don't want to take any more loans out and it says the work-from-home jobs are rare and go to more experienced people. boo.

Yeah a friend gave me the study materials (her daughter-in-law passed the test without taking an extra course - just studying the book, so it should be enough) so that saves a lot of $$$. I kind of want to get out of the house part time, and then build up experience for the cushy WFH job. Plans!

I think the CPB (certified professional biller) test from AAPC is like $300, which is still pricey, but then you are certified! I'm not sure how it will compare to having taken a course, but my friend who gave me the book said she will show me the programs and things too so I can see what it's like.

that's really nice of her. also the main reason I don't want to take the leap--I don't want to pay for all this and then look at it and be like 'wait shit this isn't what I thought it was, I don't want it' lol

I can watch anything you can think of so throw it out there. Anything that her and I can watch together, she doesn't like sports related stuff..or cop shows, she doesn't like arrested development either..so..

My thoughts exactly - for me this is a really low-risk no-cost prospect so far. Just time investment.

LOL, I just found that show to be so boring...

Problem is we find a show we like and we watch them all in a day. Like Silicon Valley, Game of Thrones the ones I've mentioned it's like yea feel like I've seen everything I wanted to see...

So then I sit here scrolling as she's like "can you find something" cause for some reason I always get to pick it and then in 5 minutes it's "pick something else" it's kinda frustrating lol.

I guess it depends on the comedy, like we watched Casual she seemed to like that....actually this is gonna sound weird but she likes shows that have a lot of sexual content. Game of Thrones, Harlots, Shameless etc etc
