Just FYI, they don't email for every survey. There can be a bunch up on the site to do and I might get one email, or I might not get one at all. I usually just keep it open in a tab.

I never get emails for prolific surveys. Maybe I have it set up wrong. That would be sweet - prolific is good money usually, and I've never had a reject.

Well, I'm all he's got - my mother died about 5 years ago, and he has no siblings or other family. And he's all I got - I'm not married or in a relationship and I have no siblings or kids, so it's just the two of us (and the dumb dog)

I had to take care of him when he was dying all by myself. I have 2 brothers but they did not help at all so I kind of know where you're coming from. It' not easy but there's nothing you would not do for parent. My mom just turned 80 in October been very lucky she's in pretty go shape for her age. God bless you for what you're doing for your Dad.

just folded 3 loads of still warm laundry. there was a massive pile of folded towels and each time I looked over my dog was standing up resting her head on them with her eyes closed

Yeah, probably. But $8 for less than an hour isn't too bad for mturk, in my opinion. I think they probably offered $16 hoping for quality answers, but people rushed through anyways. Just a hypothesis.

I didn't rush thru mine at all. Spent more time than most, I'm sure. No rejections. But I don't qual for the 8s. I wrote and they told me it was a longitudinal study and so I didn't qual, whatever sense that makes.
