The box of chocolate lucky charms, that I bought to replace the box I previously ate all the marshmallows out of, is now missing all of it's marshmallows. I regret nothing. :weed: :whistle2:
i totally did this to my friend one night and he was so perplexed when he poured some the next day.

It's burning no more.
It would be cool if the original spire will be rehabilitated and reused in the rebuild because I assume it was made of metal and will be fine other than some flame marks and being bent by falling.
The spire is one of the new parts, made in the repairs done in the 1860s when the flying buttresses were added. But I guess old buildings are akin to old family treasures that get repaired often enough that no original part remains.
Actually, I was reflecting on the strange hysteria that The Guardian and other similar newspapers have fallen into... I think it's a terrible thing, but in no way feel like 'it's ripped out the soul of Europe" or some such nonsense. I read the comments looking for people to say the article was a little bit of hyperbole but nearly all were echoing the sentiment.
It's a strange thing to feel outside the 'emotional moment' the zeitgeist. I remember when Princess Di died, watching the hysteria and sadness and feeling disconnected and out of step. I had a similar feeling this evening. It's interesting. I wonder if distance has something to do with it.

"hey......you..."
He was working and had a name tag on so I didn't have to go searching for something to call him. Luckily we didn't work in the same department. I'd have never pulled it off if I had to sit through those sales meetings with him.

I never did figure out where he knew me from.

I don't do :weed: but I guess I'm as crazy as you by eating the marshmallows first and then the rest of the cereal later. I'm still trying to find the new version of lucky charms that is supposedly supposed to be all marshmallows (no cereal bits).

My profile settings has me listed as a native speaker, so I'm assuming I must have done it when I set it up a few months ago.

gotcha. idk then, sorry :/ this specific task line has been going for a while, first you had to write the sentences, then check that they made sense on their own, and then now they're inserting them into other conversations. so it might just be for people who did the original task or something

I wish people would stop quitting the CB hit. Especially after it starts, because that just pees the bonus down your leg (and mine).
