Good morning. The cats were perfect angels this morning. Woke up to Sonja (girl cat) in the crook of my arm sleeping and Taz, (boy cat) on my chest purring and sleeping.

I miss cats, and especially sleeping with cats (the neighbor's cat who I think liked our family better than hers because of all the attention we gave her and because of the 3 noisy dogs she had at her legal owners house).

She would start sleeping elsewhere in the house and later in the night jump up on my bed and I would sense her down by my hip or feet and have to sleep in a weird position to avoid rolling over her since I'm a restless sleeper.

It's shareholder meeting weekend in Omaha - I need to get there some year and take it in. I should check my proxy to see if there will be a video stream I can watch of the meeting on Saturday.

we'll have to see if the food snobs win this one. Soybean fake foods may be the next big thing. Beyond Meat had a great IPO
yesterday and I imagine Impossible Burger probably won't be far behind in going public given the success of Beyond Meat's IPO and the
seemingly increasing desire for fake foods.

Food snobs won't get me, but I am looking to cut my red meat meals to 2 a week from 4 so veggie burgers help out by giving
me the good taste of a hamburger without being a red meat serving.

Well, my mom died of breast cancer and soybeans are said to boost estrogen levels. Fact or fiction that that is dangerous? I don't know. Verdict still out. But I do my best to avoid tofu. It's the ugliest slimiest food stuff ever created in my opinion.

Beyond Burger is made from pea protein and Impossible from wheat and potato protein.

Back in the 70's when there was rapid inflation they started putting soy in ground beef. It was delicious! I would beg my mom for those burgers at home. Since then I developed an allergy to soy. meh
