Oh don't get me wrong, definitely going to finish. It's just I've had to use my brain harder, for longer at a time, over the last three quarters of school than I have in the last ten years before that (hi, I'm old.) Was kind of looking forward to an easy summer of making mindless money, but if there isn't any then maybe it's time to suck it up and push through a couple more classes a;dslfj;sldjfdsl;fd.

I just meant that I personally would feel better getting everything out of the way asap cause school was bad too, but at least most people get degrees that pay off in the end. I mean, new stress, but hey, health insurance and a steady paycheck aren't bad, lol.

LOL Ikr? Although, I see that I missed the Vicky qual yesterday - and I'm trying to feel bad about it, and failing. Sounds like that's total garbage now.

And don't feel bad, I have the Vicky qual and can't use it, cause all of the OCMP hits seem to think I don't live in America, which is required for her HITs.

I did this yesterday. I don't know how people could get through it in a third of the two hours they say it takes, either. Unless these folk are crapping out on the writing parts. I had something to say, so I broke my rule about writing HITs and did it. That's the only reason I didn't throw it back. It is tiresome and tedious. And I'd think twice about doing it. If you like writing about yourself, go for it. You can always spend an hour on the thing and then dump it.

Just use that one. Its really long and hard to spell, so someone who doesn't get the reference might think you're saying a bad word in a different language.

Hello Cheap requester, I just noticed that you sent me a $0.05 bonus when in fact you stated I would receive a $0.15 bonus.
Now, this might not seem like a lot to you, but to a Turker this is the difference between a pack of ramen and a pack of ramen with the seasoning pack.

I would hope you take this into consideration for any future HIT's that you may post on Mturk
and one would hope you would pay said/promised bonus.

Also, you wouldn't want to be known as a poopy pants requester, would you?

Oh yeah, that definitely makes sense. It's just, to tl;dr as much as possible, I am foreseeing a chance that I'm going to need to pivot what I'd intended to do with the degree I haven't finished yet. Which, planning for is super important, but also requires energy, and as;ldfjdlk;jfdkfdskad;jf *whine* sigh.

(also health insurance and a steady paycheck aren't as readily available as you might think if you're not in healthcare or tech or the trades, which I'm not at present. More and more and more companies/industries want to hire contractors or part-time people to save money)

It's really ridiculous how it's impossible to update your location yourself. I mean, I get that the assumption is that turkers would lie about it, but there ought to be *some* way to do it...

This is backwards. Masters equals quals. It is only another qualification , although it's still considered the best one, and may/may not be useful. It used to be more useful than it is now, since requesters discovered that they can refuse to use it as a default qual on HITs...you know, sneaky Amazon and money.

Oh, it never let me choose, it just decide for me. I've never left the country once in my life, I don't know how it would get that idea. Vicky was like, let's not try and fix the issue with people who have the qual and can't do them, let's just open the qual again to more workers and make it worse for everyone.

I went to McDs today and got a quarter pound meal not even large for $7.33. Last week my husband and I went to Steak and Shake and got 2 double cheeseburgers, two fries, a chili, and baked beans for less than $10 plus they gave us two cookies with it. I did not realize McDs is not that cheap anymore.
