I started to question the healthiness of some of the new generation of vegan burgers after I ate a Beyond Burger, as served at the Honest Burger chain. While eating the burger – which came with guacamole and “pulled” barbecued jackfruit – I was stunned by how close it felt to meat in my mouth, with its rosy pink hue and fragile flesh-like texture. But it felt nothing like meat to my digestive system.
Half an hour after lunch, I started to have griping stomach pains and a horrible junk-food aftertaste. When I looked up the ingredients, it occurred to me that had they not been marketed as quasi-meat I would never have chosen to lunch on “pea protein isolate, expeller-pressed canola oil, refined coconut oil, water, yeast extract, maltodextrin, natural flavours, gum Arabic …”

We need to realize that we are being asked to eat things that were never meant for human consumption in their chemical make up.
pretty much allll fake protein has that affect on my digestive system, unforunately.

All of the things they list there are fine. Just because they have scary names doesn't mean they are cancer-incarnate.

In the case that I may accidently submit the wrong completion code can't requesters match my worker ID? I got a rejection and the lady is saying I gave her the wrong completion code. So I wrote her explaining about how so many surveys seems to not provide completion codes in which case I will submit my worker ID. I gave her my worker ID and she said no, that it was a string of numbers I submitted and that was the wrong code. I feel like she is just working me over here. She has no TV reviews, and is a red TO with two reviews. So I'm guessing she was a unrated requester when I accepted the hit.

And he taught me how to repair things. My mom taught me how to shoot a gun. She had a different idea of ''take care''.
always great skills to have. I like to repair things myself unless it's too complicated (like timing belts for my car) or too dangerous that it's better left to a professional.

I have been thinking about guns myself lately. A lot of crazies and criminals out there. I want to go take a gun course as part of getting the gun so there is some knowledge about gun usage, gun safety, proper secure gun storage when not in use or being carried, and what I can legally do in my state.

Unless the survey specifically asked you for your worker ID, you can't be sure they collected it on the survey side (which is often using a separate survey service.)

You can't even taste the difference.
These things are great in the air fryer.

same, except I make it in the oven. Morningstar Farms Grillers are just slightly better than this but I enjoy both when I want a meal break from consuming a tasty animal.

So I recently have started trying transitioning into a batch worker but find most days seems pretty grim in terms of "green" hits. Do you batch workers find most of your work coming in the form of closed quals?
To add to what C to the J @C to the J said, a lot of of decent batch requesters actually have really terrible reviews. A handful of the more common requesters that I work for are deep in the red on TO. Aside from warning of rejections or blocks, reviews aren't as helpful with batches as they are with surveys, just because there are often ways of considerably speeding up a batch that maybe others haven't figured out. That's where your skill set and workflow can really help.

That said, I wouldn't recommend trying to be just a batch worker, if that's what you're doing. MTurk is too slow these days to limit yourself to any one particular type of HIT IMO. And unless you've been around a long time and have a really well-developed set of skills/workflow, as well as masters and some other good, consistent closed quals, you're going to have a very difficult time making money from batches alone. That transition takes time.

Honestly, it's probably healthier than what we do with real meat. The whole issue of creating all these super strains of antibiotic-resistant bacteria just from all of the antibiotics that we constantly pump into chickens and other livestock is fucking terrifying.
