First thing reporters need to understand is we don't give out info for free.

Appreciate I am asking you to give up your valuable time, but its against my publication's editorial policy to pay any source for an interview. It's the same at most reputable outlets because it creates a whole minefield of ethical problems.

I think the problem a lot of reporters have is trying to look at crowd work as a whole when it would be 10x more interesting to do an article on a specific worker.
