Homeowners insurance denied our claim over the collapsed garage floor I posted of Monday. They said that because we used a garage floor sealant once we must have known that the floor was too thin and didn't have rebar. To which I said "than why would we spend $10k to risk my husbands life with a workshop below". Needless to say, we are appealing. Then we called about our car and they said "oh, no one told you? We towed it to Cleveland yesterday (I'm in Pittsburgh) because that shop is emptier". And I'm like, if I knew you were taking our ONLY vehicle to Cleveland I would have gone for the ride to visit my parents who also live there in a nice, safe, flat lander house that doesn't eat cars and try to murder us.

I'm stressed.
