I didn't renew my prime when it was up because $100 was too expensive imo.

I buy lots less crap on impulse now and put it in my cart. Usually I end up not ordering and removing it weeks later.

Not renewing prime was the most frugal thing I've done.

I think Amazon is feeling the burn of this also and are looking for ways to get people hooked (monthly subscription, $50 free ship).

On top of that, they also have the stupid add-on thing for a few years now, so if I wanted an item with add-on, I can't even order it!
