MindNumbing @MindNumbing - have you ever tried a really good vaporizer? I know what feeling you're talking about, and I definitely got that with the high nicotine level juice.

I went from a little over a pack a day to nothing using a vape pen. A high quality one, not some crap like Blu that you buy in a gas station. The day I bought the vaporizer was the last day I ever had a cigarette; it was an immediate "quit" for me. I still vape, but I've cut the nicotine down to almost nothing, having started with a high nicotine content.. I can feel a huge difference in my body. HUGE.
I still used to sneak cigarettes before I got a quality box mod, ever since I got that I haven't even looked back. Does a much better job at replicating a smoke feel... and being able to get through a month on $30 worth of juice is obviously way easier on the wallet

also not coughing up weird black shit

ecigs/vape is a case where a larger investment makes a huge difference. Lower quality vapes are so shit half the time that it ends up being a huge hassle.
The one I bought was over 100 bucks but that was when they first came out. Apparently they all had issues with the "wick" getting burned out. I doubt the esmokes today have that issue.

Forgot that I'd turned my volume way up to show the boys a Suicide Squad trailer and almost blew out my eardrums to my own voice saying 'Ok Google, boys of fall"

I have an iTaste MVP. It's not top of the line, by any stretch, but it's good. I also make sure to change out the coil relatively often, otherwise it starts to taste burnt.

never saw the appeal of smoking, it stinks, and even lets you know it's gonna kill you on the side of the packaging, and I'm talking a really slow painful death. pass
My dad had a lobectomy on Wednesday for lung cancer. Now he's laying in the ICU from major complications during surgery.

Quit.

I have the MVP 3.0. Other than the fact that it looks like a weird mp3 player, works great with a subtank mini

I am cheap so probably not. lol I bought one off of ebay for like $10. I have a couple of different juices that I bought with it that I like but it's just not the same.

I smoke because I like to. I need to quit 1. they cost too much. 2. they are not healthy. I smoke more then 2 packs a day. Sitting on the computer does not help that matter. I've tried cold turkey and patches. I have even tried the e-cigs. Nothing is helping. I find myself craving them more and more when I use the ecig. I guess its the feel of the smoke going down my throat that I miss. I can't get that from the e-cigs. So I still smoke and still pay the shitty prices on them.
Yeah, it really is about finding what works for you. I don't listen to anyone anymore about "what is best" because what is best for them is NOT best for me. Buying a whole bunch of paraphernalia to create some special ecig was absolutely pointless for me. The POINT for me was "stop spending money", so spending a bunch of money to inhale more nicotine would never work.

I also really like smoking but I'd rather eat. I got to the point that I was tired of walking in to the grocery store, seeing everyone else with carts full of delicious food and me on my way to the Top Ramen aisle. That's when I said "this is ridiculous". The store I got my smokes from started carrying the Blu disposable cigs. I bought one of those, just in case it didn't work, bought one last pack of smokes, went home. Tried the Blu...knew it was going to satisfy a) the craving for nicotine and b) for me, I learned through trial and error when attempting to quit in th past, what I missed the most was that initial hit to the back of the throat. People who have never smoked would say, "Just inhale deeply". No, NOT the same thing. So for me, that disposable Blu ecig has worked insanely well. I don't even do it as a side thing, or constant, it's only when I feel a craving.

Yesterday was my first test that I didn't know was coming. I was talking to someone new, and they whipped out their pack of Marlboros. I thought, "Oh boy...when they light up...I'm going to crave." For the first time in years, I did not crave. It actually didn't smell good like it used to. I actually didn't want a thing to do with cigarettes...there was no craving at all. And within a minute, as we continued to talk, I forgot all about the cigarette they were smoking.

You have to find what works for you. No one else will ever know what is going to work for you. Everyone has their own ideas, and they think their way is the right and only way. No. The "right and only" way is the one that works for YOU!

If I could quit dicking around and actually do work I could hit my weekly goal today before I leave to go to a bbq ...but I don't think its gonna happen. I'd rather be in bed.

So glad I have asthma, otherwise I'd likely be hopelessly addicted to cigs :dizzy:

My father died from lung cancer 6 years ago. I watched a 6 foot tall big man widdle down to skin and bones and laying on his back. Still doesn't change the way the cigarettes have a hold over me.

I've seen people die in car crashes, doesn't stop me from driving a car.
