Well, if it's not doing anything to his health, then mention food costs. If it's not that big a deal cost wise, then look back inside yourself and try and figure out what your real issue with it is.

It kind of is about food cost, but I feel guilty about that for some damn reason. I can send him a text while he's at work and ask him to bring dinner home and he does, but I never feel good about asking him to do that.

That's a valid reason though, so you shouldn't feel guilty! (I know "shouldn't" doesn't mean much, but just telling you ) Only other way to really get around that w/out saying anything is to just cook less.
