I am going to hold off on actually sending this because I feel like it's snarky but:

I wasn't able to submit it because the HIT expired before you responded. If the Inquisit portion was not necessary, then that means I completed the survey without getting paid. This happened to a lot of other people as well, who did careful, thoughtful work on your survey but couldn't complete it because of an error in the survey design. Can you set up a dummy HIT to compensate us? Otherwise you are likely to see your requester ratings take a dive on turkopticon.ucsd.edu because people may see this as a scam to get data without paying for it. Thanks and best of luck with your research.

How about take out the threat and give him a chance to set up a dummy hit?

I liked it well enough. It didn't make me scared to go out to the car afterward, though, so not scary enough.

I haven't been scared like that since I was a kid so I don't judge horror films like that . Also you broke the music room

Remove the "do this or else this will happen" type of threat from the letter and see how his response is. If a requester is unreasonable then that is a means to leave bad TO. As is he had 0 intention to actually scam anybody.

I'd also include more details or instructions on how to set up a dummy HIT because he might not know what that means or how to do that if he's new or not that familiar with MTurk.

And if you want to bring up Turkopticon, I'd include a sentence in there about what that is since many requesters don't know. "Turkopticon is a site where workers can review requesters on MTurk. You can view your requester ratings here [include link], but will need to create a free account first to log in."
