lol 16k is NOTHING.

Maybe to some people. I know my sister is way further in debt for getting her masters. But in the long run, it's me who is paying that back, and I am not even close to getting my AA...so yeah, to me it's something.

I just finished my AA in Human Services last month. I take online classes out of state, and it's also a private school...so I have about the same in debt. Working on my BSW now, so by the time I'm done it'll be probably triple what I have now.

I don't even think I will continue on after the AA to be honest. If I were to go for a BA, I can guarantee that my debt will be triple or more than what it is right now... and I just can't even fathom having to pay that much off.

I hope everything goes well for you in the long run with school. Hopefully in the future there will be better options for people who are in so much debt after college.

I know I'm going to have a lot to pay off, but my dream is to be a social worker. There's basically no other occupation I'm at all interested in doing, and I refuse to be stuck at a job I hate until I'm 70+. So, yeah. I'm doing it anyway.
