so under the fin column there's a series of three numbers (usually).
for example 1-4 1/2. you'd transcribe that to the three columns as 1 4 1/2
if the next row says 2hd you'd transcribe 2 hd --
if the next is 3 1/4 you'd transcribe 3 -- 1/4 (this is broken so most people are doing X in place of the --)

if the fractions are blurry they will only ever say 1/4, 1/2 or 3/4 so you can make a good guess which is correct.
