I didn't see a thread, so I'm sorry if we already have one. I remember a few of us said we were one of "those bitches"...so....

Okay-- I have had one of those cheapy ($2.50?) bill organizers from Dollar General forever- and NEVER remember to use it... so my bright idea tonight while playing Life with the kiddos was to take that fucker apart and turn it into inserts for my Happy Planner. (I have to multi-task... adult ADD is a bitch....)

I de-spiralized it.... trimmed the top down to size... and used the handy trick I learned in a FB group for the holes...
(You don't need that over-priced bullshit hole punch!!! Mark where you need them- punch with a regular single punch, and snip your slits- still glides perfectly!!!) Since the organizer had all the holes from the spiral binding (not wide enough to trim off...) and was a layers to each page (pocketed...) I just taped the edge with good packing tape before I punched to keep it all together, and insure it held the slits.

This is so pretty, I'd seriously buy it in a heartbeat..
I adore planners but right now my organization methods are in spreadsheets. UGLY but so efficient.

Any planner ladies tried the bullet journal yet? They look so pretty. I'm not sure I'm artistic enough to do anything the caliber of the photos in that post, but I may be inspired enough to try.

I am really thinking we have a lot in common....lol and this is beautiful! I have never managed to keep using one, either they are too simple and bore me or I make some really complicated system, that I also never use. This might inspire me to try again, because my life is just not working the way it is.

Oooooo I hadn't heard of this before, I like this too. I'll have to look at the details later. Too much going on suddenly not to have something like this.

I love planners.
I love little kits of things where everything has it place.
I love journals.
reddit.com/r/organizationporn seriously needs more love.

carry on

I can't tell if a bullet journal is actually complicated or if there was just too much information at once when googling "bullet journal"

oh good, cause I might have bought a dot grid journal last night because it was on sale and came with cute stickers. The one I bought at Walmart the lines are too thick and I can't read anything I write on it.

I'm JUST seeing this - I'm about to head to practice but I use HP and bullet journalling in a sort of weird frank-in-planner way.... also, I have SO many files I can upload for y'all to print out.

I also plan in a HP and Bujo. Though, I much prefer my Bujo because I can never settle on one style of weekly planning and I like the versatility of the bujo.
