I don't think "the real solution" to asking about needing more RAM is to "learn real scripting".

I've realized that I'm not going to make >$50/day with this laptop and its low memory. So I'm either going to get a new laptop or add more RAM. What's the minimum amount of RAM I should look for to efficiently run several scripts and pandas? 8GB? 16?

Agree with looking up your RAM on Crucial. Put as much in as your laptop will let you. In the meantime, make sure all your available processors are running. Go to System configuration app>Boot tab>Advanced options>Check "number of processors" and select highest number there, uncheck "maximum memory"

I also use ThrottleStop, but that's more for speed.

EDIT: and I'm STILL a shitty turker....YMMV

Nah, they do different things. There are some instances where you can even use both at the same time.

Linux doesn't have AHK.

To use less ram but have scripts you will need userscripts if I understand their use correctly.

Or you could just upgrade the ram and not limit yourself. It's not like memory is prohibitively expensive.
