I just hate the way companies jump on anything "trendy" and overdo it until everyone is sick of it and it's no fun anymore. Pumpkin and pumpkin spice have their places, and I like both of them.

I felt this way yesterday when I was looking at Trader Joe's ad. 95% of it was pumpkin related products.

My doctor didn't want to hear about it and when I went in for my checkup a couple weeks ago she tried to force me into getting another flu shot and was like "oh you can get them now even if you're allergic to eggs". Um, NO! Never getting it again. I think there must be some sort of connection there. It was the first flu shot I'd ever gotten (and the last).

I will never, ever, ever get a flu shot!!!! Read the stuff that is in them!!! That stuff should not be injected into a person I will take my chances with the flu. I'm 60 years old and I'm still here without it!!

I just think it's become way overdone by companies trying to get their hands into everyone's pockets during the holidays. It's like making everything Disney Princess or Star Wars themed, even when there is no reason for the items to have any connection to either of those. ("Star Wars Hemorrhoid Cream!" "Disney Princess Pimple Poppers!")

Agreed. And then see the clearance shelves riddles with all the reject products. I kind of treat it like the mint flavor. Just because it's green, and for St. Patrick's day doesn't mean it needs to go in everything.
