Is it worth to pay more for a touch screen laptop for turking?

Not once have I used the touchscreen on my gfs laptop, at least not for mturk. Imo you'd be better off using that money to get something faster.

Thank you all for your replies. About $300 more? I think that's the difference between touch and non-touch. I want to buy a new laptop and I don't know if I should invest more or not .

Depends how much more. I'd say probably not though, just get a good mouse.

Definitely don't get one of those lazy, procrastinating mice that catch like 18 Baby Heads and then go on reddit so they don't have to do them. Get a good hardworking mouse.

I've had the same logitech mouse since World of Warcraft was released. It's held up, and I get sad about the idea of replacing it.

I had a logitech mx518 for 10+ years before it finally gave out. My current razer mouse I've had for a fraction of the time and it's already messing up.. and it cost more.

i hope i don't get any rejections on the Name 5 Objects. one of my pictures was just a zoomed-in picture of a hand. and they don't want body parts labeled so i left that whole picture blank.

I just got a new laptop, and went for the touchscreen for novelty purposes

I haven't found a practical use for the touchscreen at all.
I don't like my trackpad, but it's preferable to the touch screen
