yeah, i just emailed a new (no TO) requester this morning who had that qual set and let them know that practically no one can do it, but it still happens a lot. people don't realize mturk is stupid.

At the very least you can hit $30 on most shit batches in a full days work, as well. 9 times out of 10 it isn't mturk that is causing people low earnings, it's their perceptions.

True. I am really slow with things and don't have many quals, so I blame myself for the low PE days. But I bet if I had better internet bandwitdh I could double my earnings, so there is that for some people. Anything with an "upload" I nope out of.

I agree. But you are replying to a post you didn't read very well. The operative statements are "depend" and "do what you have to do". If you are depending on something for your continued survival/rent/food/whatever the fuck it might be that you absolutely have to have... you do what you have to do, period.

MTurk and it's requestors certainly have their quirks! And I feel silly now. I generally use gender neutral pronouns, and I've learned from someone else's mistake with @LowCalCalzone, that avatars don't necessarily correlate well with gender.
