These honestly don't look that awful, especially during this shitty week, but I've had enough NO-TO fun the last couple days. Some of you might wanna dive in though.

Aldi is the ONLY way I can keep costs down. Although same on the fruits and veggies. We use dillons/Kroger for that. Get a lot of free stuff and coupons. Plus eldest works there so we get a discount

TOTALLY not judging, because you're right ... kids become extremely opinionated LoL I just never fed into all that food nonsense with mine. This is what I bought, this is what I made ... eat or don't eat (of course said like Mary Poppins)

As mine got older though, I did start incorporating meal planning and cooking with them so hopefully they can do more than boil water when they move out. My daughter is a rock star in the kitchen ... my son: I think he's going to be eating a lot of scrambled eggs when he moves out! LoL

Just watch out for the veggies. My local Aldi always smells like rotten potatoes and with out a doubt I can dig to the bottom and find some rotting veggies in all the bins. I get Veggies and meat from Publix and everything else from either Aldi or Big Lots.

Depends on the store -- Ours recently remodeled (even though it was brand new) to add a refrigerator section for veggies :thumbup: When I was growing up they never had that!

Whenever things get really bad and I become cynical about everything, I remember that Costco has 1.75l of vodka for 14 bucks and sometimes they have handles of Bacardi for 12 bucks a piece. And I think you know what, everything is gonna be alright.

That's awesome they like to help cook though. I wish I could get my three year old to want to try more foods.
