also my speakers are playing talk radio. ?????? I closed all browser tabs except this with mturk and the forum. no one has ever listened to talk radio or any radio on my computer. I don't know where it's coming from or how to turn it off ????? it's static-y and faint.

Cheap speakers with unshielded wires and/or poor ground. Could try bunching together the cables to make them shorter. I used to pick up a faint signal with my old guitar amp.
