I already use a noise machine and a fan, because the neighbors upstairs are sometimes loud early. My exercise is fine, my caffeine consumption is out of control, and I should go to therapy but don't for the very reasons I should go to therapy.
It isn't for everyone but I really wish I would have started to go earlier. Especially now that I help care for my Sis. I go with her as well. I hope you figure out what works for you!

The sleep issues are not a long term problem, I was sleeping regularly for months not that long ago.

stop drinking coffee, fam

switch to tea, and lower the caffeine with different styles of tea if you need to

or do what i do and counteract stupid amounts of coffee with beer at night and then sleep for 10 hours

Kerek @Kerek I have suffered from insomnia for years due to some personal stuff and working too many late nights in restaurants. I recommend exercise, no caffeine late at night, therapy (I did some sleep studies too) and one of these. I'm not cured but I can function much better now.

I used to sleep with a fan and this has a similar sound without the annoying wind.

I already drink both in about equal measure. I'm not going to stop drinking coffee, I like it. It's the energy drinks at shitty times and for no reason that are the problem.
