Never unless it's a task that I think I'm going to get a rejection on and contact them first to explain what happened and why I did what I did in the task that they might make an auto rejection without having an explanation to ponder first.

Do you guys take tasks/surveys that you don't actually qualify for, but lie to get the moolah?

no I don't lie, but if there is a 5-10 cent qual or whatever and the title doesn't specically mention the demos they want but I have a feeling I'm not what they are looking for, I'll do it because it's an easy 1-2 minutes for 5-10 cents.
