I didn't see anything that required authoritative intercession.
So as a guy taking notes... I should buy my lady some flowers. Unless she thinks that's wasteful, hates the smell, etc. Then I should buy her jewelry, unless she thinks that's a crappy gift idea. Plants might be a good idea, unless she doesn't want another pet. Candy is an option, unless she's got sweets/food issues.
I bought my own Christmas gifts this year and I've never been happier.
Alexa cracks me up for all the wrong reasons. She always looks like she has the somebody just farted face and it never leaves....
