He definitely should talk to someone,* I think the treatement can be different from person to person (since we all process things differently and whatnot) But at least in the meantime if he has money coming in from mturk it might help alleviate other concerns so he can focus more on the agoraphobia.I'm trying to figure out how to help him. I thought that he had a really good job/career because he seems quite intelligent to me but told me that he has an over active imagination that can get him in trouble (caused him anxiety).
I just found out today that he's been living off of less than $5000 a year for the past 6+ years because he told me that he has anxiety attacks when far away from home because according to him his heart rate goes up and he starts thinking he is going to die. I'm looking for advice because I feel bad for him and because he is relatively young (he's only 30).
