Well I literally just cleaned pee off my bathroom floor this morning so, I could have done the same.

We've talked about if he needs to go to the vet or not a few times.

Keep those areas clean if it's like hard floors, not carpet, etc and if he does that collect some. It might save time and headache at the vet if that is the problem. I know you are keeping the areas clean but I mean you don't want a contaminated sample.
